Tifereth Israel Men’s Club

The Tifereth Israel Men’s Club’s goal is to increase its visibility within T.I. and the Bensalem community by developing meaningful events and activities for our members while providing more involvement in community service and charities. This year, we will involve more members in event leadership roles. The Tifereth Israel Men’s Club welcomes everyone to join, as we are all-inclusive!

Our Men’s Club is associated with the FJMC, formally the Federation of Jewish Men’s Club International.  Recently, there has been a revision of the FJMC’s vision to encompass a wider audience.  FJMC now stands for Friendship, Judaism, Mentorship, and Community. Tifereth Israel’s Men’s Club adopts these changes and recommitment.

T.I.’s Men’s Club has scheduled many events for this year with our goal to build friendships and have fun, as well as to serve Tifereth Israel and our community at large.  Some of our upcoming programs and activities for this year are listed below.

• Sunday, August 31 – Minyan, breakfast, and nature walk with Congregation Brothers of Israel
• Sunday, Sept. 21 – Eagles Tailgate Party (vs. LA Rams)
• Date tbd – Phillies Playoff Watch Party
• Sunday, October 5 – Help with Sukkah construction
• Thursday, Oct. 9 – Sukkah Mediterranean Bash, meal, and Eagles football  Sunday, November 23 – Man of the Year Roast & Toast brunch honoring T.I.’s Dr. Richard Harwood
• Sunday, December 14 – Latke Breakfast for the Hebrew School
• Sunday, tbd – FJMC-MAR Man-of-the-Year nominee – Dr. Richard Harwood
• Jan tbd – Axe throwing event Tbd – Trivia breakfast Saturday, Feb. 7 – Israel, from a dream to reality (part 2), Martin Abrahamson guest speaker
• Sunday, Feb 8 – Worldwide Wrap, breakfast, and Israel, from a dream to reality (part 3), Martin Abrahamson guest speaker
• Friday, March 13 – Shabbat Across America
• Sunday, April 19 – Israel Independence Day Celebration – Yom Hashoah Yellow Candle Distribution
• Sports Pools (The more people that sign up, the bigger the prizes.  We award more than half of the proceeds to the winners.)
